In case there was any doubt about the significance of NKOTB..I am in the process of writing up a research paper about NKOTB's reunion (reaseraching pop culture has its perks) anway, here are a few of the many posts that people put on the NKOTB Blog:

I love them!
I would just like to take this opportunity to "throw my hat in the ring" as it were, about The New Kids on the Block. In this world filled with sin and oppression it is a huge sigh of relief to know that Jordon, Jonathon, Joey, Donnie and Danny are there to let the world know that everything is gonna be OK.
On another note, there has been something concerning them that has been weighing on my mind for many years now. Recently, it has become the social "Norm" to refer to the group as NKOTB. This is an OUTRAGE! They are not some Kentucky Fried Chicken food chain changing their name to KFC to become more socially acceptable to a society who has long turn their backs on delicious bisquits and turned their carnal desires to carb counting and herbal remedies. They are "True, Blue" American men or "Kids" as they perfer to be called, they are the very soul of these The United States. And it is our duty as good wholesome Americans to see their integrity preserved. To refer to the as NKOTB, as the heathens do, is unacceptable. Make it right people, make it right. That is all I have to say on the matter but refering to all preceding statements I'd like to quote an equally great man, Mr. Michael Jackson when he so poetically said, "You know it, you know it, you do, you do."
